Job summary

Endeavor Health in Chicago, IL seeks a part-time Group Aquatic Instructor to lead engaging swim sessions 5 hours per week. Hours: M-F 2pm-4pm, Sat 9am-12pm. Certification in CPR/AED is required and WSI must be obtained within 90 days.

Qualifications

• CPR/AED certified; WSI certification required within 90 days of employment
• Previous swimming background is essential; experience in swim instruction preferred

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism with LifeCenter members, guests and staff
• Create a fun, healthy learning environment
• Design lesson plans tailored to group needs and goals
• Motivate clients by giving encouragement and confirming pupils’ accomplishments
• Provide skills and drills for practice outside class
• Foster a welcoming atmosphere that blends experimentation with learning
