Qualifications

• CPR/AED certified or obtainable within 90 days of employment.
• WSI (Water Safety Instructor) certification must be obtained within 90 days.
• Previous swimming background essential; experience in swim instruction preferred.
• Demonstrate proficiency in front crawl, backstroke and breaststroke.
• Strong interpersonal communication and ability to motivate diverse learners.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate professionalism with LifeCenter members, guests and staff.
• Create a fun, healthy learning environment and tailor lesson plans.
• Motivate clients and acknowledge pupils' progress.
• Provide drills and skills for independent practice.
