Job summary

Hot Springs Village Property Owners Association in Hot Springs Village, AR, is seeking a Part-Time Group Exercise Instructor (non-certified) to lead engaging fitness classes within the Recreation department.

You will tailor sessions to diverse fitness levels, ensure safety, and collaborate with staff to plan schedules. Prior group exercise experience and strong communication are preferred; CPR/AED certification a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Experience leading group exercise classes or similar fitness instruction.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with diverse groups.
• Ability to demonstrate exercises clearly and maintain participant safety.
• Basic knowledge of exercise techniques and fitness principles.

Responsibilities

• Lead group exercise classes with enthusiasm, ensuring clear instruction and demonstration of exercises.
• Adapt workouts to accommodate different fitness levels and any physical limitations of participants.
• Maintain a safe environment by monitoring participant form and providing modifications as needed.
• Engage and motivate class members to foster a supportive and energetic atmosphere.
• Collaborate with fitness staff to develop class schedules and contribute ideas for new class formats.
• Ensure all equipment is used properly and report any maintenance needs to management.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing participant questions and feedback promptly.
