Job summary

Valley of the Sun YMCA in Goodyear, AZ is seeking a part-time Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes and ensure a safe, energetic environment for participants. You will motivate attendees, maintain a positive atmosphere, and contribute to community well-being at the YMCA facility location in Goodyear.

The role requires current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, a recognized group fitness certificate, and a current Zumba/Jazzercise/MixxedFit or similar certification.

Qualifications

• Must enjoy teaching others.
• Current state approved First Aid, CPR/AED Certificate.
• Current nationally recognized group fitness instructor certificate (e.g. ACE, AFAA YMCA Group Fitness Instructor, ACSM or National Exercise Trainers Association).
• Must have a current instructor certification in Zumba, Jazzercise, MixxedFit or any similar style of dance group fitness.
• A positive energetic attitude with the ability to motivate others.
