Valley of the Sun YMCA is seeking a part-time Group Fitness Instructor to lead engaging classes at 6869 E Shea Blvd, Scottsdale, AZ. The role emphasizes safety, motivation, and community well-being.

Responsibilities include motivating participants, delivering enjoyable workouts, and maintaining a safe exercise environment. Certifications such as MOSSA, Silver Sneakers, Zumba, or Mat Pilates are preferred, and First Aid/CPR/AED is required.

Qualifikationen

• Minimum 1 year of experience teaching group fitness classes preferred.
• Current state First Aid and CPR/AED certification, and a national group fitness certification (ACE/NETA/AFAA/NASM) or YMCA Foundations.
• Specialty class certifications such as MOSSA, Silver Sneakers, Zumba, Mat Pilates, etc.
• Ability to teach group exercise with proper technique and observe participant form.
• Must be 18 years or older.
