Job summary

Thrive Communities is seeking a part-time Maintenance/Housekeeping associate in Olympia to maintain grounds and common areas, ensuring a professional appearance across the property. The role includes cleaning, stocking restrooms, and supporting residents with outstanding service.

In-person duties require attention to detail, reliability, and strong customer service. Weekend shifts are required; Driver's license is preferred to assist on-site tasks.

Qualifications

• Prior housekeeper, porter, custodial, or groundskeeper experience preferred, but not required.
• Prior experience in a customer service or customer facing role.
• May require Driver's License and insurance (ex: operating golf cart on premise while handling grounds work and equipment)

Responsibilities

• Maintains grounds and and common areas to ensure a professional appearance of the property.
• Vacuum, sweep, and mop floors.
• Clean and stock restrooms.
• Notify managers and maintenance team of necessary repairs, hazards, or low inventory items.
• Collect and dispose of trash.
• May be asked to inspect and help to prepare units after move-out and before move-in.
• Strives to exceed residents’ expectations for excellent customer service.
• Contributes to a positive team culture and happy resident base.
• Performs all additional duties assigned by Maintenance Supervisor and Community Manager, and assists maintenance team, as needed

Pay Range:

$19-$22 per hour

Schedule:

Part-time; Monday - Friday 8 am - 5 pm & Saturday-Sunday 10 am- 5 pm (Weekends required)
