Job summary

Wytheville Community College is seeking a part-time Groundskeeper to maintain outdoor spaces, assist with furniture moves for events, and support basic building maintenance. Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Valid Virginia driver's license required.
• Knowledge of basic trades and ability to operate grounds equipment.

Responsibilities

• Maintain grounds including mowing, trimming trees and shrubs, and snow/ice removal.
• Assist with moving furniture for office/classroom changes and events.
• Assist with basic building maintenance and routine inspections.
• Complete CPR/First Aid/AED training and required safety courses.
• Attend staff or safety meetings and provide reliable customer service.
• Work schedule mainly Tuesday through Friday; ensure timely task completion.
