• Maintain lawn care by seeding, fertilizing, watering, and pruning.
• Monitor and operate irrigation systems for proper watering.
• Clean road and area drains; remove debris from campus grounds.
• Operate assigned grounds equipment and snow plows.
• Assist in snow and ice removal using chemicals and machinery.
• Collect and dispose of refuse from campus grounds; empty outdoor receptacles.
• Help maintain and repair grounds equipment and tools.
• Report safety hazards or repairs to supervisor of grounds.
• Collaborate with athletic department to prepare sports fields for practices and games.
• Implement pest control measures to protect plants and turf.
• Coordinate with campus departments for events and ceremonies.
