Job summary

Southwest Airlines Co. is seeking a Part-Time Operations Agent to support ground operations at the Phoenix area. You will assist with boarding, weight and balance checks, and coordination with Ramp, Operations, and provisioning teams to keep flights on schedule.

The role includes potential overtime, mandatory training, and a union-influenced pay/schedule structure. Eligible employees receive health insurance options and a range of benefits beginning on day one of employment.

Qualifications

• Ability to work well with others in a fast-paced environment.
• Must comply with DOT drug and alcohol testing program.
• Ability to read documents, follow instructions, and learn ramp operations procedures.

Responsibilities

• Provides friendly service to and maintains positive relationships with all internal and external Customers.
• Helps with boarding, weight and balance checks, and coordination with Ramp, Operations, Provisioning and servicing aircraft to ensure on-time departures.
• Coordinates loading/unloading and monitors ramp activities; maintains clear communication with Gate Agents and Dispatch.
