The Richmond Behavioral Health Authority is seeking a part-time Ground and Garden Maintenance Technician for RBHA's North Campus and Chelsea Hill locations. The North Campus is a 13-acre residential substance use treatment facility located in Highland Park, Richmond. Chelsea Hill is an outpatient services facility at 2000 Mecklenburg Street.
The North Campus Greenspace features open spaces, a walking trail, raised beds (vegetables and flowers), a Kitchen Garden (including vegetables, herbs, and berries), a small fruit tree orchard, rain gardens, pollinator gardens, and general landscaping. The space is continually developed to be therapeutic and purposeful, often through community volunteer efforts, grants, and organic practices.
The ideal candidate loves horticulture and gardening, understands best practices, is eager to learn, and has the skills to maintain and enhance this space.
