Job summary

Food Lion seeks a dedicated team member to provide quality customer service in the Center Store department. You will help maintain standards, maximize sales, and minimize shrink through adherence to standard practice and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities include stocking, price and product integrity, and using tools like ACIS and CAO to ensure accurate inventory and ordering. You will work with teammates to deliver fast, friendly service and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet physical requirements of the position.

Responsibilities

• Maintain an atmosphere of enthusiastic customer awareness with primary emphasis on fast, friendly, and accurate customer service to create a positive shopping experience.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates
• Clean shelves and shelf tag moldings with damp cloth, as needed, when stocking
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag
• Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done in accordance with policies and guidelines
• Observe and correct all unsafe conditions that could cause associate or customer accidents
• Wear the Food Lion uniform, complete with name badge, when on duty, neat and clean appearance
• Successfully complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses
• Perform all other duties as assigned
