Job summary

Food Lion is seeking a dedicated Center Store associate to deliver quality customer service and maintain shelves in a fast-paced grocery environment.

You will greet customers, stock products, tag shelves, follow safety procedures, and use store tools like ACIS and CAO while upholding Food Lion's standards. The role requires good communication, reliability, and the ability to learn multiple tasks; you will wear the uniform, complete CBT training, and contribute to a positive shopping experience.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Excellent interpersonal, organizational, communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to use technical information to solve problems.
• Must meet minimum age requirements to perform specific job functions.
• Must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position, with or without reasonable accommodations.

Responsibilities

• Maintain enthusiastic customer awareness with fast, friendly, and accurate service.
• Courteous and helpful to other associates.
• Stock shelves and shelf tag moldings with damp cloth, as needed.
• Maintain shelf allocations by stocking from tag to tag.
• Place only saleable merchandise on the shelves.
• Ensure that ordering, receiving, preparation, conditioning and displaying of merchandise is done per policies.
• Understand and use ACIS and CAO tools.
• Maintain adherence to company guidelines and safety procedures.
• Observe and correct unsafe conditions and report accidents.
• Comply with local, state and federal regulations.
• Wear the Food Lion uniform, name badge, neat appearance.
• Complete CBT, Training Packet and Training Aid courses.
• Perform all other duties as assigned.
