Job summary

Better Ballot Iowa is seeking a Campaign Coordinator to help grow our supporter network and mobilize volunteers across Iowa. This role supports outreach, training, and communications, serving the grassroots movement and fundraising efforts with a flexible, part-time schedule.

You will work closely with the Executive Director and state partners to engage volunteers, coordinate events, and maintain donor communications while advancing Voting 2.0 initiatives in Iowa.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of campaign or nonprofit experience.
• Knowledge of Iowa's political and civic landscape.
• Ability to coordinate across teams without direct authority.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Familiarity with donor databases and email platforms is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events and logistics for canvassing and speaking engagements.
• Support community outreach efforts to expand visibility across Iowa.
• Work with the communications team in outreach and education.
• Welcome, train and follow up with new supporters and volunteers.
• Coordinate volunteer activities and communications.
• Develop and maintain educational materials for supporters.
• Help execute statewide voter education campaigns.
• Manage donor outreach logistics.
• Execute fundraising emails on behalf of the Fundraising Lead.
