Job summary

Southwest Tennessee Community College seeks an Adjunct Faculty member in Graphic Arts – Interactive Multimedia/Gaming. This is a part-time position with pay of $640 per credit hour. Responsibilities include delivering instruction, grading, and maintaining records across multiple campus locations.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree or associates degree in Graphic Arts field with demonstrated teaching competencies.
Two years teaching in higher education or one year teaching plus three years industry experience.

Responsibilities

Prepare and deliver instruction in Graphic Arts – Interactive Multimedia/Gaming.
Administer and grade student work and provide progress feedback.
Develop curricula, syllabi, and instructional materials.
Recruit and assist students with course-related issues outside class.
Maintain accurate attendance and grade records in FERPA compliance.
Attend faculty and department meetings and participate in professional development.
Engage in departmental/college committees and outreach.
May perform other duties as assigned by Department Head/Dean.
