Job summary

Hopper Consulting in Tampa, FL is seeking a motivated part-time student intern (15-20 hours per week) to support a GovCon client. The successful candidate will help with strategy and growth analyses for government contracting firms, an ideal role for a college senior seeking hands-on GovCon experience with potential for full-time transition.

The position offers flexible scheduling, primarily remote work with occasional in-person collaboration in Tampa.

Qualifications

• Must be a US Citizen.
• 85+ college credits completed at an accredited university.
• College seniors preferred, ideally interested in business, consulting, or government contracting
• Strong research, writing, and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel); familiarity with CRM tools a plus.
• Capable of applying models and frameworks to help solve complex challenges
• Interest in government contracting, consulting, or business development.
• Must be in the Tampa, FL area.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to GovCon clients for business development and growth.
• Conduct market research and compile data on federal contracting opportunities.
• Assist in preparing presentations, capture plans, and proposal materials.
• Support business development activities for multiple GovCon clients
• Participate in occasional virtual or in-person meetings during business hours.
• Provide administrative and analytical support to senior consultants.
