Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• One to three months of related experience or training.
• Ability to read and speak English may be required to perform duties.

Responsibilities

• Starts players on the first tee and explains the rules for the day.
• Maintains an accurate starting sheet so player whereabouts are known.
• Guides groups to the first tee ensuring only one group is on the tee at a time.
• Assists players to maintain posted pace of play around the course.
• Checks restrooms and water stations on a regular schedule.
• Replaces hazard stakes or signage and keeps course clean.
• Communicates with the Golf Shop and Starter regularly.
• Reports problems to the Head Professional promptly and maintains safe work practices.
