LHH in Hawaiian Gardens, CA seeks a skilled General Ledger Accountant for a temporary, part-time role. You will prepare and post journal entries, perform reconciliations, and support month-end close on a flexible, variable schedule.

This on-site assignment requires accuracy and independence, with duties spanning bank reconciliations, accounting reports, and maintaining documentation. Pay ranges from $36 to $42 per hour, plus benefits offered by the firm.

Qualifications

• Previous general ledger accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of debits, credits, reconciliations, and journal entries.
• Experience supporting month-end close.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with ERP/accounting systems preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post journal entries
• Perform general ledger account reconciliations
• Assist with month-end close
• Reconcile bank and balance sheet accounts
• Research and resolve account discrepancies
• Prepare supporting schedules and accounting reports
• Assist with accruals, prepaid expenses, and account analysis
• Maintain accurate accounting documentation
• Provide additional accounting support as business needs fluctuate
