Job summary

Penobscot Community Health Care (PCHC) is seeking a BC/BE physician (MD or DO) to join our Community Care and Geriatrics program as a part-time provider at the Skowhegan facility. The role focuses on geriatric care within nursing homes, long-term care and assisted living settings in Bangor and surrounding areas.

The position is one 10-hour day per week, with schedule arranged by medical director to meet facility needs.

Qualifications

• BC/BE physician (MD or DO) to join CCG as part-time provider at Skowhegan facility.
• Familiarity with geriatric care and community care models is preferred.
• Strong communication and teamwork with facility staff and Medical Director.

Responsibilities

• Complete skilled admissions and respond to acute needs.
• Maintain relationships with facility teams and provide high-quality geriatric care.
• Collaborate with Medical Director and CCG staff to meet facility needs.
