Job summary

Greenville Nursing and Rehabilitation is seeking a part-time Speech-Language Pathologist to deliver high-quality rehabilitative care focused on evaluating and treating residents with speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing disorders.

This role centers on implementing individualized treatment plans and collaborating with an interdisciplinary team to support functional communication and safe swallowing in a geriatric setting.

Qualifications

• Masterts in Speech-Language Pathology required or equivalent.
• Current state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist required.
• CCC-SLP from ASHA preferred; CF candidates may be considered.

Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents speech, language, cognitive-communication, and swallowing function.
• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on findings and goals.
• Provide therapeutic interventions targeting speech, language, voice, fluency, cognitive-communication, and dysphagia disorders.
• Educate residents, families, and caregivers on communication strategies and safe swallowing techniques.
• Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans to optimize outcomes.
• Maintain a safe, supportive, and engaging therapeutic environment.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary team for coordinated care.
• Document evaluations, treatments, progress notes, and billing per facility policies and regulatory standards.
• Ensure HIPAA compliance and SNF regulatory requirements.
• Engage in ongoing professional development to stay current.
