Job summary

Bunnell Lammons Engineering, Inc. (BLE) is seeking a Part-Time Geotechnical Soils and Concrete Laboratory Technician to support our AASHTO and CCRL accredited lab in Greenville, SC.

Reporting to the Lab Manager, you will handle sample receipt, demolding, basic soil and concrete testing, and contribute to project milestones. The role emphasizes attention to detail, reliability, and the ability to work independently or lead small teams.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Detail-oriented with time management.
• Proficiency in MS Office preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and stand for long periods.
• Effective written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Receive and process laboratory samples.
• Demold cylinders and prepare specimens.
• Read measurements with tape measure and calipers.
• Perform basic soil and concrete tests.
• Learn specialized tests listed in the description.
