Qualifications

• MD or DO degree required
• Completion of ACGME/AOA approved pediatrics residency or equivalent
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain
• Board-eligible or board-certified in pediatrics within five years of training
• BLS certification required
• PALS as required for hospital appointment

Responsibilities

• Provide part-time pediatric care at Riverview location
• Possibly perform newborn rounding at local hospitals
• Collaborate with clinical and administrative teams to deliver high-quality pediatric care
• Participate in flexible scheduling and adapt to practice needs

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
