Pediatric Associates seeks a Full-Time Pediatrician to join our Tampa, Florida practices. This float position offers flexibility and the opportunity to round in the New Born Nursery, with support from our team of board-certified pediatricians and nurses.

Our Tampa practices—including Trinity, Citrus Park, Bloomingdale, and Riverview—provide strong clinical and administrative support, with a competitive benefits package and relocation/sign-on opportunities.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree is required.
• Successful completion of an ACGME or AOA approved residency in Pediatrics or equivalent.
• Current, unrestricted Florida medical license or ability to obtain.
• Current, unrestricted Florida DEA license or ability to obtain.
• Board eligible or board certification in Pediatrics within five years of training.
• Meets all requirements for medical staff membership and privileges as required.
• BLS certification is required.
• PALS as required for hospital appointment.

Responsibilities

• Float among Tampa practices including Trinity, Citrus Park, Bloomingdale, and Riverview.
• Provide pediatric care to newborns through adolescents.
• Collaborate with NPs/PAs and specialty services to ensure comprehensive care.

Education, Licensure & Certification:

• M.D. or D.O. degree required
• Successful completion of an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Osteopathic Association (AOA) approved post-graduate residency, or equivalent in Pediatrics \
• Current, Unrestricted license to practice medicine or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Current, Unrestricted DEA license or the ability to obtain in the State of Florida
• Board Eligible or Board Certification in Pediatrics within five years of completing training
• Meets all requirements to obtain medical staff membership and privileges as required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) as required for hospital appointment
