Job summary

Schreiber Foods is seeking a sanitation partner to perform major clean-up, sanitizing, and set-up of equipment on plant production lines. You will follow GMP and housekeeping guidelines and monitor food safety and quality requirements.

The role requires strict safety compliance, use of PPE, and ability to work in wet, humid conditions. Weekend night shifts with differential are typical for this position, with ongoing training and growth opportunities within the employee-owned company.

Pay

• Starting Pay for General Part Time Sanitation is $18.76.
• $10 per hour sanitation premium
• $2 per hour night differential

Responsibilities

• Must be able to follow oral and written instructions.
• Must be able to operate power cleaning and sanitizing equipment.
• Must be physically capable of performing moderate to heavy lifting.
• Must be able to use proper lifting techniques and maintain a safe work environment.
• Must be willing to learn new process systems as they evolve.
• Responsible to fill out paperwork as required
• Must be able to do other duties as assigned by the Team Leader/Team Advisor.
• Must be able to work in wet and humid conditions.
• Must be flexible to work different shift hours as needed.
• Must be able to work around ammonia systems, acid systems, steam systems, high voltage and know the safeguards against being accidentally exposed to fumes, live steam and/or shock.
• Must be able to wear safety shoes, hairnet, and hard hat at all times.
• Must be able to wear gloves, goggles, face shield, ear protection, and/or gas mask as the need arises.
