Job summary

Tyson Foods in Broken Bow, OK is seeking a part-time general labor associate for the 3rd shift (Night). The position requires 10–30 hours per week with a start rate of $16.75 per hour plus a $2 shift premium.

Applicants must be able to perform physically demanding tasks in a cold, damp to hot environment and cooperate with a safety-conscious team. Applicants may be considered for various general labor openings in pack-out departments and for class 1 positions.

Job Details

Start rate of $16.75 plus a $2/hour shift premium.

Start time for this position is 6:15 p.m. Applicants will be considered for any general labor type opening on the 3rd (Night) shift only. Must work a minimum of 10 hours with a maximum of 30 hours per week. Part-Time Workers are REQUIRED to work the 1st day of the week (Sunday) and the last day of the week (Wednesday). Applicants will be considered for openings in any class 1 position in pack-out departments.

Requirements

• Physical: Standing, walking, bending, stretching, climbing, pushing, pulling, gripping, reaching, repetitive wrist, elbow, and shoulder movements. Lifting 40 to 70 pounds (for some positions).
• Work Environment: Cold, damp to hot and humid with slippery surfaces.
• Safety: Must be able to work with others to adhere to Tyson's safety culture.
• Consideration: If an applicant meets the minimum requirements, they may be contacted for a visit to the facility.
• Prior Employee Waiting Period: If you were previously employed at Tyson, there’s a 180-day waiting period before you can reapply. Applicants who have worked for Tyson Foods 3 or more times are not eligible for rehire.
• Relocation Assistance Eligible: No.
