Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum Education Required: Bachelor’s degree.
• Master’s degree preferred.
• Education or related degree with teaching experience required; teaching experience with adult learners strongly preferred.
• Strong classroom management skills.
• Empathy for students with barriers and skills in building rapport.
• Teaching experience in reading, writing, and math.
• Experience with multi-level classrooms.
• Creativity in teaching in resource-constrained environments.
• Availability to attend monthly professional development sessions (generally, late afternoons/early evenings).
• Preference for applicants who clearly state in cover letter how their experience relates to these opportunities.
