Job summary

Gwinnett Technical College is seeking an Adjunct Faculty – Game Development to teach courses in Game Design and Development, AI, Mobile Development, and scripting. The position is part-time, non-benefited, FLSA Exempt/Professional and reports to the Program Director – Web Design and Game Development.

Qualified candidates hold a Bachelor's degree (or a Master’s with 18 graduate hours) and have at least two years of related work experience.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in field OR Master’s degree with 18 graduate hours in discipline.
Minimum of two years of relevant work experience.
Credentialing to satisfy accrediting bodies for the courses assigned.

Responsibilities

Prepares lesson plans for classroom instruction for specified courses.
Evaluates students’ progress in attaining goals and objectives.
Prepares and maintains all required documentation and administrative reports.
Displays a high level of effort and commitment to performing work; operates effectively within the organizational structure.
Accepts direction and feedback from supervisor and follows through appropriately.
Assists with recruitment retention and job placement efforts.
May be required to act as a Campus Security Authority; completing all responsibilities and trainings.
