Job summary

The Athletic and Fitness Center at Chatham University is seeking a part-time AFC/Gameday Staff member to support front desk duties and game-day operations for university sports. The role requires reliability, punctuality, and a proactive approach in a fast-paced setting.

Responsibilities include answering phones, assisting with event setup, monitoring the facility, and helping with in-game tasks such as scorekeeping and line judging as needed. Some evenings and weekends are required.

Qualifications

• Punctual and dependable with able to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills for front-desk duties.
• Willingness to learn and participate in training sessions.

Responsibilities

• Greet AFC users at the front desk and answer the phone.
• Assist with game/event setup and in-game record keeping as needed.
• Patrol the facility, monitor equipment, and help with cleaning and maintenance.
• Operate scoreboards and support game supervisors as assigned.
• Adhere to dress code and communicate effectively with staff and patrons.
