Job summary

The Lovesac Company is seeking a Sales Associate to create a welcoming in-store experience and help customers design Lovesac furniture to fit style and space.

You will engage customers with our selling techniques, build relationships, and aim to meet personal sales goals while delivering exceptional service. This role supports omni-channel experiences including remote and in-store interactions.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High-School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum 1 year of experience in retail or customer service.
• Able to work flexible evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient with technology for sales and customer support, including demos and CRM.
• Support omni-channel customer experience in-person and remote shifts.
• Willing to travel to local stores and vendor locations as needed.
• Demonstrate judgment, integrity, and trust in handling transactions and data.
• Ability to move items up to 75 pounds and assist with assembly on the floor.

Responsibilities

• Actively engage with customers using Lovesac selling techniques.
• Achieve personal sales goals and KPIs.
• Provide attentive service to all customers and build customer loyalty.
• Demonstrate product knowledge and educate customers.
• Guide customers from interest to purchase, manage quotes and close sales.
• Conduct outreach using company tools and methods.
• Identify and resolve customer issues to ensure a positive shopping experience.
• Maintain a welcoming, visually appealing store following merchandising standards.
• Support store operations including opening/closing, inventory, promotions following company standards.
• Utilize sales data and reports to prioritize tasks.
• Follow policies to minimize risks and maintain safety.
• Meet or exceed sales goals and KPI.
• Perform other duties as assigned by Management.
