Responsibilities include assisting with removals, dressing decedents, setting up for services, driving vehicles, and ensuring dignified care. Must lift up to 50 lbs and be available for evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Able to use a computer and type.
• Proficient in MS Office and willing to learn other software.
• Valid state driver’s license with acceptable driving record.
• Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
• Able to work and communicate effectively with others.
• Maintain composure in challenging situations.
• Maintain confidentiality of information.
• Lift 50 lbs and pull/push 200 lbs or more for removals if needed.
• Able to pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist funeral directors and provide support for services and removals.
• Support transportation, chapel setup, and family needs during services.
• Answer phones, perform administrative tasks, and greet families.
• Prepare rooms, flowers, caskets, urns, photos, and keepsakes.
• Assist with dignified transport and care of the deceased as required.
• Drive company vehicles as needed and maintain cleanliness of vehicles.
• Work beyond standard hours including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Comply with company policies and preserve confidentiality.
