Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent.
Able to use a computer and type.
Proficient in MS Office suite and willingness to learn other software is required.
Valid state driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Able to follow written and verbal instructions.
Able to work and communicate effectively with others.
Able to maintain composure in challenging situations.
Ability to maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

Assist funeral directors and support funeral, memorial, and other services as requested.
Assist with dignified transport and care of the deceased, including removals and preparation activities.
Provide administrative support and answer phones.
Greet and assist client families and visitors with information and support.
Prepare for services by setting up floral arrangements, chairs, caskets, urns, photos, and keepsakes.
Drive funeral home vehicles for services and family transportation.
Assist with visitations, memorials, and funeral services, including chapel setup and furnishing items.
