Job summary

The Minnesota Boychoir seeks a thoughtful, detail-oriented Development and Communications Manager to support fundraising and communications on a 0.5 FTE, 20 hours/week basis in a hybrid Twin Cities environment. You will write grants, manage donor communications, support the annual fund and gala, and help coordinate organizational storytelling across social media, newsletters, and reports.

Qualifications

• Proven writing and editing skills for grants, donor appeals, and public communications.
• Background in nonprofit development, communications, or arts administration preferred.
• Familiarity with donor CRM systems, email platforms, Google Workspace, Canva and payment platforms.

Responsibilities

• Research, write, and manage grant proposals and reports for partners.
• Support planning and execution of annual fund campaigns and galas.
• Steward donors through timely communications and tax acknowledgments.
• Create engaging social media content and quarterly newsletters.
• Lead the development of annual report and coordinate overall communication strategy.
• Maintain donor CRM, generate reports, mailing lists, and donor insights.
