Alta Resources is Hiring!

This position's responsibilities at the Fulfillment Center include, but are not limited to: picking, packing, quality assurance, sorting, and feeding or replenishment at the cold seal machines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Pick customers’ orders according to the pick ticket or order form
  • Conduct quality assurance checks within assigned duties
  • Package customer orders in shipping containers
  • Feed picked orders at the cold seal machine(s) as necessary
  • Maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Bale loose corrugate
  • Participate in inventory management functions as needed
  • Help achieve team productivity and service level goals
  • Participate in team meetings to communicate suggestions, ideas for process improvement, issues, or concerns, and work closely with Team Leaders
  • Follow Fulfillment Center safety guidelines at all times
  • Perform other duties as assigned
  • Maintain regular attendance, punctuality, and adherence to the scheduled availability, which are essential functions of this position
  • Review and receive incoming product documentation from clients/vendors
  • Print documentation for product verification if necessary
  • Count pallets, cases, and individual items of incoming products following SOP standards
  • Complete appropriate documentation for receiving and delivery to leaders/analysts
  • Print and apply labels to products as needed
  • Assist analysts with cycle counting of existing products, as required
Leadership Responsibilities

This position does not have supervisory or leadership responsibilities.

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED is required. Prior fulfillment and/or light-duty warehouse experience is a plus.

Technology Skills

Basic knowledge of computer applications, including MS Word. Ability to learn new software and technology as introduced by the client and Alta Resources.

Language Skills

Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating instructions, and manuals. Ability to write routine reports and communicate effectively.

Mathematical Skills

Ability to perform basic arithmetic, including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division, and to interpret data such as bar graphs.

Reasoning Ability

Ability to understand and carry out detailed instructions and solve problems involving concrete variables in standardized situations.
