Job summary

Lowe’s is hiring a Warehouse Associate in Anchorage to pick, stage, and fulfill customer orders with accuracy and speed. You will maintain safe staging areas and operate powered equipment while keeping inventories aligned and compliant.

The role requires basic computer use, familiarity with retail tech, and forklift/Order Picker certification (if not already earned). A strong focus on customer service and teamwork is essential.

Qualifications

• 6 Months of Experience using a computer to input, access, modify, or output information.
• 6 Months of Experience using common retail technology, such as smartphones and tablets.
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required; must be obtained if not already certified).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders accurately and on time, keeping staging areas clean, organized, and safe.
• Deliver excellent service by choosing high quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates when needed.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy by using the Orders App, maintaining SIMS compliance, and collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management, while reporting safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork skills.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
