Job summary

Lowe’s Companies, Inc. is seeking a dedicated associate to support order fulfillment and inventory accuracy in a store environment. You will pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders, while maintaining safe staging areas and providing excellent service.

Responsibilities include operating powered equipment with proper certification, using the Orders App for inventory tasks, and collaborating with leadership to resolve short picks. A customer-first mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• 6 months experience using a computer including inputting, accessing, modifying or outputting information.
• 6 months experience using common retail technology (smartphones/tablets).
• Powered Equipment Certification: Counterbalance Forklift, Order Picker, and Narrow Aisle Reach Truck (Required).

Responsibilities

• Pick, stage, inspect, and fulfill customer orders on time; keep staging areas safe and organized.
• Deliver excellent service by selecting quality items, validating orders, answering questions, and connecting customers with the right associates.
• Operate and maintain certification for powered equipment (Forklift, Order Picker, Narrow Aisle Reach Truck) and follow safety requirements.
• Support inventory accuracy using the Orders App, maintain SIMS compliance, and collaborate with leadership to resolve short picks.
• Complete administrative, maintenance, and readiness tasks such as audits, order follow-ups, and locker management; report safety or theft concerns promptly.
• Achieve daily job responsibilities with a customer-first mindset and strong communication and teamwork.
• May be assigned other duties to support the needs of the business.
