Job summary

Big Night is hiring a Part-Time Seasonal Fulfillment Associate for our Greenpoint warehouse. The role focuses on ecommerce fulfillment—picking, packing, and preparing shipments—while allocating inventory to stores.

You will work closely with the Fulfillment Operations Manager to keep inventory organized and orders moving efficiently. Ideal candidates enjoy staying active, thrive in a small team, and pay close attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Perform opening/closing duties and keep the warehouse clean and safe.

Job Overview

We’re looking for a Part-Time Seasonal Fulfillment Associate to join our growing warehouse team at our new Greenpoint fulfillment center.

This role is primarily focused on ecommerce fulfillment - from picking and packing orders to preparing shipments for customers, as well as allocating inventory to our retail stores for Big Night branded products. You’ll work closely with the Fulfillment Operations Manager and the broader Big Night team to keep inventory organized, orders moving accurately and efficiently, and the warehouse running smoothly day to day.

This is a hands‑on role that’s a great fit for someone who enjoys staying active, working with a small team, paying attention to details, and learning about great food, design, cooking, and the makers behind the products we sell. There will also be opportunities to take on additional responsibilities based on your interests, skills, and growth within the team.

Key Responsibilities

• Pick, pack and fulfill ecommerce orders accurately and efficiently while maintaining an organized and efficient workflow throughout the fulfillment process.
• Adhere to Big Night packaging and shipment standards & SOPs to ensure packages arrive as beautifully and safely to our customers at home, as they would in-store. You’ll be bringing the Big Night experience to someone's doorstep.
• Identify and communicate inventory discrepancies, damaged products, or fulfillment issues to the Fulfillment Operations Manager.
• Receive inventory from our vendors - unboxing goods, inspecting for quality, inputting into our inventory management system, printing and placing barcodes on goods.
• Pull and pack inventory for transfers to Big Night retail locations.
• Pull products for photoshoots, events, special projects, and other company needs.
• Assist with inventory organization and warehouse projects as needed.
• Complete opening and closing responsibilities, including routine cleaning, box breakdown, recycling, and garbage removal.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse throughout the day.
• Follow all warehouse safety procedures and company policies.
• Help create a positive, collaborative, and productive environment for the entire warehouse team.
• Understand that the care we put into fulfillment is an extension of the experience we create for our customers.

Position Requirements
