Food Lion is seeking a friendly Front End associate at Store 01421 in Franklinton, NC. You will deliver fast, accurate service, greet customers by name when possible, and handle checkout transactions with care, helping create a positive shopping experience.

Responsibilities include maintaining neat front-end displays, following cash handling procedures, assisting customers with bags, and supporting store standards through teamwork and reliable attendance. High school diploma preferred.

Qualifications

• High school graduate or equivalent preferred.
• Effective communication and customer service skills.
• Ability and willingness to learn multiple tasks and technical requirements of the job.
• Ability to perform the technical requirements of cashier and service center.

Responsabilités

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and use his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Scan items and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Follow procedures for refunds, cash handling, and overrides.
• Identify customers needing assistance and offer to take orders to their car.
• Maintain neat and clean front end area and presentation.
