Responsibilities

• Smile and provide prompt, accurate and friendly service while engaging customers to create a positive shopping experience.
• Greet each customer and uses his or her name whenever possible.
• Unload customers' groceries from cart to belt and group items for bagging.
• Follow correct bagging procedures and proper use of bags by type.
• Scan the customer’s order and handle payment transactions per standard practice.
• Maintain cash control and handle refunds and adjustments as needed.
• Assist with Food Lion To-Go orders and related tasks as scheduled.
• Ensure front end area is neat, clean and stocked with supplies.
