Job summary

Boise Co-Op is seeking a friendly part-time Front End associate for weekends and evenings at the North End Store in Boise, ID. You will handle checkout, engage customers, and support a clean, efficient front-end area.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and retail or cashier experience is preferred. You will follow cash handling procedures and help with stocking and light cleaning while maintaining a welcoming shopping experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide accurate checkout by entering SKU, quantity, and weight in POS.
• Engage customers and share membership information during transactions.
• Encourage Round Up for monthly nonprofit initiative.
• Follow cash handling procedures to maintain till accuracy.
• Uphold state regulations for sale of alcoholic beverages.
• Assist customers at self-checkout and answer questions.
• Balance service with stocking and light cleaning to keep the front end running smoothly.
