Heinen’s, Inc. is hiring a part-time Front End Associate in Strongsville, OH. You will operate scanners and cash registers, process payments, and ensure accurate pricing and product handling while delivering friendly service.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skill(s).
• Sense of urgency and ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Production driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.
• Able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Willingness to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics.
• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
• Follow store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards or the purchase of specific items such as alcohol.
• Follow company standards for proper packing.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
