Heinen’s, Inc. is seeking a Front End Associate in Avon, OH. You will operate scanners, manage payments, and ensure accurate pricing while delivering friendly service. This part-time role offers up to 22 hours weekly with evening and weekend availability and potential for promotion.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to work independently to achieve daily tasks.
• Compliance with all company policies and standards.
• Ability to work with minimal supervision.
• Production-driven with the ability to work continuously on repetitive tasks, while standing.
• Ability to frequent lift and/or move up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Willing to work the number of hours required to meet company objectives, with the understanding that occasionally business needs will require additional time.
• Willing to work the non-traditional five-day work schedule, including Saturday, Sunday and evenings.

Responsibilities

• Operate scanners, scales, cash registers and other electronics.
• Accept payments, ensuring all prices and quantities are accurate.
• Follow all store procedures regarding coupons, gift cards or the purchase of specific items, such as alcohol.
• Follow company standards for proper packing.
• Acquire and share knowledge of the store.
• Prioritize daily work based on varying business needs.
• Attend required corporate meetings and training classes.
• Comply with all personal and food safety company standards.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
