Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer for Guest Relations in Wilmington, DE. You will greet residents and visitors at the front desk, verify access, and maintain a welcoming, secure environment in a residential setting.

You will monitor cameras and access points, respond to incidents calmly, and document security-related activity while upholding Allied Universal’s standards of integrity and teamwork. This role offers flexible scheduling and part-time hours.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to residents, visitors, and staff while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a residential location.
• Staff the front desk, greet residents and visitors, verify access as directed by site procedures, and maintain a professional, welcoming presence.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, alarms, cameras, and communication systems as assigned, reporting unusual activity to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate logs, visitor records, incident reports, and other required documentation in accordance with site policies.
