Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer for the Visitor Arrival Desk in Wilmington, DE. You will greet tenants and visitors, monitor access, verify credentials, and coordinate with site contacts to keep the lobby safe and welcoming.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening are required by policy.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff at a front desk.
• Monitor access, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, and direct guests.
• Maintain visitor logs and issue access credentials as authorized.
• Respond to incidents and alarms following escalation and reporting procedures.
• Observe lobby activity and deter unauthorized access with a professional presence.
