Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply by state/local laws.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide a professional front-desk presence and customer service for employees, visitors, contractors, and guests at a technology and telecommunications location.
• Manage visitor access by greeting guests, verifying identification and appointments, issuing temporary credentials, and following site-specific access procedures.
• Monitor lobby activity, access-control systems, communications, and security-related equipment; report unusual activity or access concerns according to site policy.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Maintain accurate visitor logs, incident reports, and other required documentation while supporting security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
