Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Lakeland, FL for a Full Time Front Desk Driver role. You will welcome visitors, verify access, monitor activity, and respond to security concerns while driving requirements are met.

Schedule includes day shifts including weekends; pay is $17.75 per hour. The role requires a valid driver’s license, at least one year of security experience, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or clients at a front desk within a financial services location while carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
• Monitor access to the facility by greeting visitors, verifying identification and/or appointment information, issuing visitor credentials, and directing guests in accordance with established protocols.
• Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records; receive calls and communicate routine information to appropriate personnel.
• Observe front-desk activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and policy violations to site leadership or Allied Universal management.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
