Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Enhanced Part Time Door Control in Lakeland, FL to provide reliable security at an assigned site with flexible hours and opportunities to pick up additional shifts.

The role offers a pay rate of $17.00 per hour, a fixed weekly shift, and the chance to gain hands-on experience while contributing to client safety through access control, patrols, incident response, and customer service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• A background check will be conducted as per federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen is required where permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and manage visitor/contractor entry.
• Respond to incidents and escalations using established reporting channels.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking areas, and surrounding perimeter.
• Assist with maintaining orderly vehicle, driver, visitor, and employee access during operations.
