Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Security Officer at our Philadelphia, PA location to welcome visitors, manage access, and maintain a secure front desk environment. You will provide professional customer service while enforcing site policies and responding to security-related concerns.

This role offers flexible scheduling with a part-time commitment and opportunities to learn our Claim a Shift platform, along with access to benefits and career growth initiatives.

Qualifications

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees at the front desk while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access to the financial institution location, greet and screen visitors, verify credentials, issue visitor passes, and maintain accurate visitor records.
• Answer telephone calls, direct guests to appropriate contacts, and communicate routine concerns or requests to site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Observe front-desk activity and report suspicious behavior, access concerns, and maintenance issues according to site-specific reporting procedures.
