Job summary

Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, seeks a Part Time Security Officer (Reception Credential Resolution) in Los Angeles, CA. You will welcome visitors, manage access control, monitor alarm panels, and support a secure environment at a commercial real estate site.

You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly with tenants and guests, and respond to security-related concerns.

Qualifications

Experience with access control and badge systems preferred.
Experience with alarm panels preferred.
Guard card or license preferred.
Comfort using a computer or tablet.
Customer service experience preferred.
As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.

Responsibilities

Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors at a commercial real estate front desk while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
Monitor access to the location by greeting visitors, verifying credentials as applicable, issuing visitor passes, and directing guests according to established procedures.
Maintain accurate visitor, contractor, and delivery records and communicate relevant information to building management and authorized personnel.
Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following site-specific emergency response procedures.
Monitor front desk communications, receive calls and deliveries, and report unusual activity or security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
