Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Front Desk Security Officer in Savannah, GA to welcome guests, manage access, and respond to security concerns with professionalism. You will work in a hotel or resort setting, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment while delivering excellent customer service.

Qualified candidates have at least 6 months in security, strong service orientation, and the ability to pass background and drug screenings.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A guard card or license preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to guests, visitors, and/or associates at a hotel or resort front desk by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the property, greet and direct visitors, verify credentials as required, and maintain visitor logs and/or access records.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate hotel or resort personnel and emergency responders.
• Observe front desk and lobby activity, report unusual conditions or concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access through professional presence and adherence to site procedures.
• Assist with security-related administrative duties, including documenting incidents, answering phones, and providing information or directions to guests and visitors.
