Allied Universal® is hiring a Security Officer - Part Time Enhanced in Omaha, NE. This role offers fixed shifts at an assigned site with the option to pick up extra shifts to boost earnings.

The pay rate is $18.50 per hour, with a six-month anchor shift commitment and opportunities to grow into full-time roles. Responsibilities include greeting visitors, verifying access, monitoring lobby activity, responding to incidents, and maintaining a professional front-desk presence.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing may be required by state/local laws.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and clients in a professional lobby environment.
• Greet visitors, verify identification and access authorization, issue visitor credentials, maintain records.
• Monitor lobby activity, access control systems, cameras, and report concerns.
• Respond to incidents calmly and professionally, contact appropriate personnel or emergency responders.
• Maintain a professional front-desk presence and provide building information.
