Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced to support a Chicago site. This role offers fixed anchor shifts with additional on-demand hours via our scheduling platform, enabling you to scale up to ~40 hours weekly.

Pay rate is $19.75 per hour, with a Fri 3:00 PM–11:00 PM shift and path to full-time opportunities through experienced growth. The position emphasizes customer service at a commercial real estate front desk, badge control, access management, and incident

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include access control and badge experience, and customer service preference.
• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles, with a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen as required by law and company policy.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building personnel at a front desk.
• Greet visitors, verify ID, issue visitor credentials, and maintain records.
• Monitor lobby activity and security systems, report issues per site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents, coordinate with management and responders as needed.
• Answer phones, offer directions, and support tenant and visitor requests.
